Our client, a multinational oil and gas services company,
require an experienced and reliable senior document controller to join the team
on a long term contract. The successful candidate will work form the client
project office in Rubislaw, Aberdeen.
Job Description:
To manage
the daily performance and operation of the Document Management Centre. This
includes all DM activities required to meet the needs of the onshore and
offshore operations.
Set up and
manage a team to deliver DM support
Ensure team achieves the agreed targets/milestones
Perform all
supervisory and administration duties required to run the Document Management
Centre
To maintain and audit the DM team performance against the agreed Service Level
Agreement
Communicate
with project groups and third parties to agree standards, systems, handover and
close-out of project activity to meet the client requirements
Ensure that
a comprehensive set of DM procedures and departmental work instructions are
developed and maintained
Facilitate
meetings relating to operational interfaces of DM
Manage a
co-ordinated approach to resolving procedural issues in a timely manner
Manage
co-ordinating a complete and timely project close-out/handover/archiving
activities
Set up and
maintain an electronic document management system
Manage the
development and maintenance of performance targets
Manage
system administration
Qualifications
The ideal
candidate will be educated to HNC (or equivalent) in an engineering or science
relates subject with previous experience working in an engineering
project group or information management centre within the oil and gas industry.
